"As a graduate of NIU and medical school in Rockford, it has been a pleasure to serve and give back to this community medically but also with involvement in AYSO, public school events. We helped launch and remain very active in Christ Community Church which outreaches to the less fortunate, university students, public schools, nursing homes, and multiple non-for-profit organizations.

I married in 1990 to my NIU girlfriend and we have 5 kids. My claim to fame is having run the Boston Marathon.

As a father of a special needs child and having spent 18 years in Africa with frequent surgical trips to Haiti, I have had extensive exposure to multiple global people groups and have a passion to meet and communicate on their level, in terms that are understandable, truthful, thorough, and timely. My desire is to heal the physical but impact the spiritual needs of my patients which can be equally long-lasting. I treat my patients as I would want to be treated with compassion, integrity, openness, and punctuality while striving to understand the outside influences that affect my patients' ability to comprehend and actively participate in their treatment options. My desire is to remove the fear of the unknown and "un-fear" the known."
