Cinnamon Sugared NutsIngredients

  • 1 Tablespoon slightly beaten egg white
  • 2 cups pecan halves, unbalanced almonds or walnut halves
  • ¼ cup sugar (or Splenda)
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves


Heat oven to 350⁰ F.

Mix egg white and pecan halves in medium bowl until pecans are coated and sticky.

Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle over nuts.  Stir until nuts are completely coated. Spread nuts in single layer in ungreased jelly roll pan, 15”x10”x1”.

Bake about 30 minutes or until toasted. Cool completely, or serve slightly warm.

Makes 8 (1/4 cup) servings
