Description

Polyphenols are the antioxidants that make purple/blue fruits and vegetables beneficial.  Fruits and vegetables that feature a violet hue have been shown to improve cardiovascular disease risk factors and other chronic disease processes.  Join Peggy Marchini, registered dietitian as she discusses the sources of these nutrient-rich foods and learn how to "put more purple on your plate".  This class is a lecture only.
