Fourth Annual Randy Hatcher Memorial Golf Tournament

September 23, 2006

The Fourth Annual Randy Hatcher Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 22, at The Oak Club in Genoa. The event is held in memory of Randy Hatcher, an area businessman who died suddenly in April 2003.

Proceeds from the Hatcher outing will be used to purchase new technology or equipment for Kishwaukee Community Hospital. Pam, Randy's widow and mother of their sons Keifer, 15, and Dylan, 11, is director of Respiratory Services at KCH.

"I wanted to keep the memory of my husband alive and at the same time help other people. Randy, who had asthma himself, understood the importance of each breath," Hatcher said. "That is why it is so fitting to have the proceeds go to the hospital.”

Attendees can expect a day filled with golf, golf games, raffle, prizes and great food. Golf, dinner and entertainment are available for $80, or attendees can come and enjoy the company and dinner for $12. Registration is 11:30- 12:30 p.m., with shotgun start for best ball format at 1 p.m.
