Stice Joins Kishwaukee Community Hospital

Kristi Stice, PharmDKristi Stice, PharmD, joins KCH as the new Clinical Development Coordinator of Pharmacy.

Kristi Stice, PharmD, has recently joined the professional staff of Kishwaukee Community Hospital as the Clinical Development Coordinator of Pharmacy.

Stice comes to KCH from Norfolk, VA, where she completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency with Sentara Healthcare, a seven-hospital healthcare system that provides a wide range of medical services to Southeast Virginia.

She attended St. Louis College of Pharmacy for both her bachelor of science degree and her Pharm D degree. She has a wide range of clinical pharmacy experience, including pharmacokinetic consult services which is the calculating of doses of certain drugs (usually antibiotics) based on patient-specific parameters such as kidney function.

At KCH, Stice will be responsible for updating staff on evidence based therapies and work as an educational resource for departments and practitioners. She serves as the pharmacy representative for several interdisciplinary committees at KCH.

She looks forward to working with the KCH pharmacy staff to bring about new clinical services and create a deployed pharmacist model that will bring pharmacists closer to the point of care and help KCH grow as an integrated interdisciplinary environment.
