Brad Copple Elected to MCHC Board of Directors

Brad CoppleThe Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council (MCHC) has elected Brad Copple, President, Kishwaukee and Valley West Community Hospitals, to serve as a board director for a three-year term during the MCHC Annual Meeting on June 11.

MCHC is a membership and service association comprised of more than 150 hospitals and health care organizations working together to improve the quality of health care services in the metropolitan Chicago area.

Copple has been with KishHealth System for 22 years, previously serving as administrator of Kishwaukee and Valley West Community hospitals. Prior to joining KishHealth, he held leadership positions at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital. 

A graduate of Wheaton College, Copple earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He also holds a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa. He is a also a member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), member and past chair of Illinois Compensation Trust Board of Trustees; member of the IHA Political Action Committee (PAC) Board, and past member of the Illinois Hospital Association’s Small, Rural and Public Hospital Constituency Committee.

Copple was born and raised in Sycamore and makes his home there with his wife, Michelle, and their three children. He volunteers and serves on boards for numerous community organizations.
