August 31, 2011

Donors Honored at Annual Appreciation EventsNearly 300 community donors were served by KishHealth Foundation Board Members and KishHealth System leaders at KishHealthFoundation’s donor appreciation events this summer.  Events were hosted at both Kishwaukee Community Hospital and Valley West Community Hospital. Brad Copple, hospital president, and Mike Muzzillo, Valley West vice president of operations, thanked donors for their support and highlighted hospital and health system accomplishments during the past year.

At the Kish Hospital event, Craig Mathey, Health Foundation board member, entertained with live piano music and donors enjoyed visiting with the hospital’s Healing Paws therapy dogs.

At the Valley West event, two Tree of Life additions were acknowledged; the first was a memorial sponsor, in loving memory of Dan Lindner by Rick Lindner, and the second was a non-memorial sponsor, from David and June Westbrook, in honor of our children Jeff, Janice, and Dana.
Renee Ellingson, KishHealth Foundation executive director said, “Our donor appreciation events give us a chance to thank our donors for their generosity and commitment to the health system.  It is always wonderful to spend time with our donors and share with them how grateful we are.”
