KishHealth Foundation Will Host an Affair to Remember

February 8, 2012

An elegant evening of fine dining and dancing awaits those who attend KishHealth Foundation’s Formal Affair Saturday, March 10, in the Duke Ellington Ballroom, Holmes Student Center, NIU.

With no silent auction this year, the evening will be about ambience, and contributing to that atmosphere will be the appearance of the Glen Traeger Orchestra.

“The Chicago-based orchestra provides dance music for high end social events throughout the country. They have performed at the Steve Wynn Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas and at Spago Restaurant, for corporate functions, weddings and galas.

“We are fortunate the group had room on its schedule to come to DeKalb and be a part of our inaugural Formal Affair,” said Marcy Rubic, KishHealth Foundation executive director. Formal Affair replaces the balls previously sponsored by the Kishwaukee and Valley West Community Hospital Auxiliaries.
Money raised will go to the health system’s non-profit entities: Community Cares Clinic, DeKalb County Hospice, Valley West and Kish Hospitals.

The black-tie optional event will feature cocktails and fancy hors d’oeuvres, an elegant sit-down dinner with wine at the table, and open bar all evening. Tickets are $125 and sponsorships are available.

Reservations are requested by Feb. 24, and can be made online at www.kishhealthfoundation.org, or by calling 815.748.9954.
