Pulmonologist Named as Medical Director of KishHealth System Sleep Disorder Center

DEKALB, Ill. – KishHealth System has announced that Naishadh Brahmbhatt, MD, has been named as medical director of the KishHealth System Sleep Disorder Center. Dr. Brahmbhatt, who is on the medical staff at Kishwaukee Hospital, specializes in pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine. His office is located at 5 Kish Hospital Drive, Suite 203, inside the Kishwaukee Hospital Medical Office Building. Dr. Brahmbhatt sees patients during his office hours on the second Monday of each month, and starting in September, he will expand his hours to the second and fourth Mondays of each month. The KishHealth System Sleep Disorder Center, with locations at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb and at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, is an Accredited Member Center of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The KishHealth System Sleep Disorder Center conducts sleep studies to diagnose a variety of disorders in adults and children age three and older. Sleep studies are performed overnight using advanced computerized equipment to monitor the brain as it transitions through the stages of sleep and measure the functions of the lungs, heart, and other parts of the body.
