Clinical Trials at DeKalb Cancer Center

Clinical trials for patients of the KishHealth Cancer Centers are made possible through our affiliation with the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola University Medical Center near Chicago.

Our oncologists encourage patients to participate in clinical trials and discuss all options and studies available. Our clinical research nurse coordinates care for cancer patients enrolled in a clinical trial. If allowed by the protocol of the clinical trial, the Cancer Center in DeKalb will administer some or all of your medications, working closely with Loyola.

KishHealth System Laboratory services are available on site at the Cancer Center to ensure rapid results for treatment options. Other laboratory testing is referred to KishHealth System Laboratories located in DeKalb, Sandwich, and Rochelle.

Genetic Testing

The KishHealth System Cancer Centers offer genetic testing for breast cancer, ovarian cancer, colon cancer, and other cancers. Genetic counseling is available at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood through KishHealth’s affiliation with Loyola University Medical Center.
