What is Endocrinology?

Hormones in glands and organs such as the pancreas, adrenal gland, pituitary, thyroid, and hypothalamus help the body regulate a variety of body functions including:

  • Breathing
  • Energy levels
  • Organ function
  • Fluid balance
  • Weight control
