Inpatient Care

Our licensed respiratory care practitioners are certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, and neonatal/pediatric resuscitation. These professionals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for inpatient services.

Outpatient Services

Outpatient respiratory services include a Pulmonary Function Lab at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb and Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, and pulmonary rehabilitation at Kish Hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center.

Pulmonary Function Lab

The pulmonary function lab can diagnose obstructive versus restrictive lung disease and determine your response to bronchodilator medications. Our licensed respiratory care practitioners can also draw arterial blood gases to help determine how well you’re breathing. Treatments include nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, chest physical therapy, and the same ventilator capabilities used by major teaching institutions to address all your respiratory needs.
